Rev. M. R. Siemens, D.D., of Chippewa Manor Retirement Center, Chippewa Palls, Wisconsin, died Sunday, December 25, 1994 at the Rice Lake hospital. Services were conducted Thursday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Memorials may be sent to Christian Ministries, Inc. He was raised in the Buffalo Center area and graduated from Buffalo Center High School in 1925. Rev. Siemens served several pastorates during his sixty plus years of ministry in the Eau Claire area. Surviving are a daughter, Marlys Jeanne Siemens Griffiths; her husband. Rev. Larry Griffiths of 103 Hilltop Drive, Rice Lake, Wisconsin 54868; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. Rev. M. R. Siemens was preceded his death by his wife, Jeannette in March, 1994; four brothers and a sister.
