Delmar Dale Travis, age 78 of North Branch, Minn., died on March 31, 2005 at his home with his family by his side. Delmar was born on May 18, 1928 in Barnum, Iowa to Scott and Julia (Feazel) Travis. He married Rhoda Fuhr on July 27, 1945 in Humboldt, Iowa. Delmar worked at the State Hospital in Cambridge, farmed, and owned the Stark Store and broiler farm. Delmar serviced his country in the Army. Delmar was preceded in death by son Roger Travis, two grandsons Mark Travis and Tyler Elling, and his parents. He is survived by wife Rhoda, three daughters Kathy Goldbloom of North Branch; Debra Eckman of North Branch; and Pamela Elling and husband Mitch of Aitkin, Minn.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 4, from the Fish Lake Lutheran Church with Rev. Stiles officiating. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch, Minn.
