Funeral services for Joshua and James Spitler, brothers who were killed in a head-on collision Monday morning, December 20, 2004 on a gravel road approximately three miles east of Webster City, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Foster's Chapel at Webster City, with Rev. Bill Keller officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center at Webster City from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and prior to the service on Friday.

James Alan Spitler, son of Terry and Linda Wright Spitler, was born February 1, 1987 at Webster City. He was a junior at Northeast Hamilton. He also worked at the Silver Dollar Saloon as a waiter. James is survived by his parents, Terry and Linda Spitler of Blairsburg; brother, Jeremiah Spitler of Webster City; sister, Heather Spitler of Blairsburg; grandparents, Alice and Dick Spitler of Webster City; Carol Wright of Eagle Grove; great-grandmother, LaMoine Balch of Webster City, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Irvin Wright.

Memorials may be given in memory of Joshua and James, for funeral expenses, in care of the Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsburg, Iowa 50034.
