Rebecca Lynn Williams - Meyer
April 23, 1947 --- October 26, 2013

Rebecca "Becky" Williams-Meyer, 66, of Walcott, IA, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at University of Iowa Hospital. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2013 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:30 PM Saturday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family. Becky was born April 23, 1947 in Forest City, IA, the daughter of Art and Jeanne Erdman. She married Marty Meyer September 26, 2009. Becky worked primarily in the restaurant business before retiring, owning restaurants of her own at times. She loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, baking, camping, motorcycling, gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Marty Meyer; three daughters: Kristie and (Kent) Dau, Long Grove, IA, Lisa and (Matt) Piller, Farmington, MN, and Jennifer Thoel (Kerry Porter), Fort Dodge, IA; grandchildren: Marlyssa Piller, Mackenzie Wiley, Josh Piller, Tim Dau, Bailey Thoel, Tyler Dau, Tabitha Thoel and Tanner Thoel; sisters: Donna and (Les) Janssen, Sharon and (Doug) Greenfield, and Jeri and (Ed) Koppen. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pam Smith; husband, Paul Ernst and husband, Roger Williams.
