Otis Sanders Rites

Funeral services for Otis Sanders, who died recently in Redondo Beach, Calif., will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Baptist church with the Rev. R.F. Kittrell officiating.
Mr. Sanders was formerly of Swea City. Surviving: his wife, daughters, Mrs. Orrin Kinne, Bode, Mrs. Ivan McLaughlin, Tucson, Ariz., and a son Glen who will accompany his mother here for the services. Also surviving are three brothers, Doyle, Swea City, Clyde, Lakota, and Bill at Fenton. Burial will be made in the East Lawn Memorial Park. The body is at the Merritt Funeral home.

SERVICES HELD HERE FOR OTIS SANDERS, CALIF.

Seneca, Feb. 20 — Wm. Sanders received word early last week of the death of his brother Otis, at Redondo Beach, Calif. The body was shipped to Iowa, and funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Algona Thursday afternoon, the Rev. Mr. Kittrell, Baptist pastor, officiating.

The deceased, formerly of the Swea City community is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Orrin Kinne, Bode and Mrs. Ivan McLaughlin, Tucson, Ariz., also a son Glen, who accompanied his mother here for the funeral. Surviving also are five brothers: Doyle, Swea City; Clyde, Lakota; William, Seneca; and Arnold and Dan, both of California, the latter of Long Beach. Arnold left immediately following the services for his home at California but Dan was accompanied by his wife, and they visited relatives in this vicinity, but left Monday evening for home, accompanied by the son Glen. Mrs. Sanders plans to remain in this vicinity. Other Senecans attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Francis Foley.
