January 16, 1908 ---- April 17, 1997

Neva Hussey Kyser of Birmingham, died Thursday, April 17, 1997. She was born in Memphis, Tenn. and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, in Memphis. She was a former resident of Belmond, Iowa, for several years, before moving to Birmingham, where she resided for 21 years. She was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Kyser was preceded in death by her husband, George Herbert Kyser. She is survived by her daughter, Neva Kyser Carmichael of Birmingham; granddaughter, Leslie Erwin Carmichael of Birmingham. Private funeral services will be held by the family in Selma. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to a favorite charity or to Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Johns-Ridout's Southside Chapel is directing.
