March 11, 1859 --- April 7, 1939

Charles T. Westaby, for quite a number of years a resident of the Alexander community, died at his home in Yakima, Washington, on April 7th, according to an announcement received here this week. He had not been ill, and died in his sleep, evidently of a heart attack. Mr. Westaby was a highly respected citizen of Franklin during his residence here, and many old friends will regret to hear of his death. He moved west probably twenty or more years ago, and has since resided in Washington state. He is survived by his wife and other members of his family. Mr. Westaby was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge in Hampton, active in his membership while here, and always retained his connection with the lodge until his death.
