Lon Winter of Renwick Died in Rochester, Minn.

Lon Winter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bell Winters (sic) of Renwick, passed away in his hotel room in Rochester, Minn., last Sunday evening. He had gone to Rochester on Memorial Day with three other Renwick residents for examinations in the clinic there. He suffered a stroke in his hotel room, and was found by Archie Notestine, who was one of the men accompanying him on the trip. He died enroute to the hospital. Services were held at the Winter home at 1:30 and at the Methodist church in Hardy at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday and internment was made in the Vernon cemetery. His survivors include his mother, three brothers, one sister and other relatives.
