HOLD RITES FOR OLAF E. NERBY

Tumbleson, Severtson Officiate at Services for Eagle Grove Man

Eagle Grove - Funeral services for the late Olaf E. Nerby, who died suddenly at his residence west of town Friday, were held on the residence grounds Monday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev. J. R. Tumbleson of the Methodist church, assisted by the Rev. T. J. Severtson of the East Side Lutheran church. Burial by Kutibschek and Kastler of Eagle Grove was made in Oak Grove cemetery at Lehigh. Surviving are the widow in this city; one son, Frederick, on the home farm in Austin, Minn., and two sisters in Austin and two sisters in Minneapolis. Mr. Nerby had lived in Eagle Grove for approximately 25 years, operating the Rexall drug store for 20 years or more. About 10 years ago he purchased a plot of ground west of the city limits and developed a nursery, raising flowers and fruit. He was born in Austin, Minn., on the farm now occupied by his son, Frederick. He was 62 years of age.
