Dows – Franklin R. Christensen, 28, died at his farm home, southeast of Dows Wednesday, following an illness. Funeral services will be at the First Lutheran Church, Dows. Burial will be in Northlawn Cemetery, Iowa Falls, with Van Hove Funeral Home in charge. Surviving are his wife, the former Rosanne Miller; three children, Timothy, Kristy and Brenda; his parents, Andrew and Clara Gardalen Christensen, Dows; three brothers, Lavern, Dows; Raymond, Alden; Andrew Jr., St. Paul; four sisters, Mrs. Howard (Alma) McElvania, Popejoy; Mrs. James (Cora) Shaw, New Providence; Mrs. Arnold (Velma) Fuller, Popejoy; Myrna, Dows. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
