William Nissen of Renwick Dies Wed.

William Nissen of Renwick passed away Wednesday evening in Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge. Mr Nissen operated a feed store in Renwick. He is survived by his wife and four children. Funeral services will be at the home at 1:35 Saturday, April 16, and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Mr Nissen had farmed near Renwick before moving to Renwick a few years ago.

Funeral services were held from the home and St. Paul's Lutheran church Saturday, April 16, for Mr. William Nissen, who passed away Wednesday night, April 13, at 12 o'clock at the Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge. The pastor of the church, Reverend Paul C. Lutz, was in charge of the service, Miss Marilyn Paine was the organist. Hymns used were "O Sacred Head," "I know of a Sleep in Jesus Name" and "Nearer My God To Thee" sung by Miss Marilyn Paine and Mrs. Otto Swanson, accompanied by Miss Mardelle Larson at organ. Pallbearers were William Pogge, Omar Davis, Merle Richardson, S. C. Maurer, Claus Block, and A. L. Trummel. Burial was at Vernon cemetery. Mr. Nissen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Nissen, three sons, Herman and Wilbur of Renwick; Maurice of Corwith; one daughter, Mrs. R. B. Watson of North Platte, Neb., three brothers, three sisters; eight grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
