MRS. COULSON DIES AT 63
Mrs. Richard (Laura) Coulson, 63, a longtime Webster City resident, died Friday evening at the Hamilton county hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Tuesday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Arthur A. Oswald officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.
Laura Alice Claussen, daughter of Peter and Caroline Kelling Claussen, was born Oct. 22, 1907, at Renwick, Iowa. She was reared and educated in that area and was graduated from Humboldt high school. She was united in marriage Sept. 26, 1936, to Richard L. Coulson, and the couple has always made their home in Webster City. She is survived by her husband, two children, Gary L. Coulson of Webster City and Mrs. David (Twyla) Jorgensen of Blairsburg; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Nelson of Creston; and one brother, Edward Claussen of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Coulson had served as memorials chairman for the Hamilton County heart association for the past eight years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.
