John Leslie Robb

Mr. Robb died suddenly Saturday morning at Hamilton Co. hospital, his death attributed to a heart attack. When he was 11 years old, he moved with his parents to a farm near Goldfield. He was reared and educated in that community. In 1931, he moved to Webster City. He was employed at the former Cleveland Dairy and later at the Graham Dairy. He was also employed at the former Albright Implement Co. and later was employed at Dermand's. He was united in marriage Feb. 24, 1934, at Fort Dodge to Bertha Crouch Darnell, and the couple had always since resided in this city. He is survived by one step-son, Melvin Darnell, Webster City; three step-granddaughters; six brothers, Arthur Robb, Corwith, Ernie Robb, Webster City, Dan Robb, Cedar Rapids, George Robb, Iowa Falls, Lyman Robb, Belmond and Clifford Robb, Centralia, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Cone, Traer, Iowa, Mrs. Ernie Bohnsack, Waterloo, and Mrs. Lawrence Meyer, Iowa Falls. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1942; by his parents, five brothers and one sister...
