August 26, 1910 --- November 28, 1987

Lee A. Croxell, 77, Janesville, Wis., a former Webster City resident, died early Saturday, Nov 28 at his home in Janesville. He had been in failing health for two months. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec 3 at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Roden officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Lee Croxell was born Aug 26, 1910 at Correctionville where he was educated. May 20, 1938 he married LaVonne McKay. They resided at Eagle Grove, Jewell and Webster City. He was preceded in death by his wife in Oct. of 1959. On Sept. 3, 1960 he married Jane Lee at Webster City. The Couple resided here. For several years, they resided at Walworth, Wis. Since spring of 1987, the couple had lived in Janesville. Mr. Croxell was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for most of his life.

Survivors are his wife, and children Larry Croxell of Dallas, Texas, Diane Whipple of St. Louis, MO., Marvin Powell and Stephen Powell, both Walworth, Wis., Ann (Mrs. Jack) Carlson of Webster City, June (Mrs. Richard) Newgaard of Kanawha, Melva (Mrs. Ken) Sommerfeldt of Janesville, Wis., Kathy (Mrs. Mike) Baker of Webster City; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge of Harvard, Ill.
