MRS. CROVISIER DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. George Crovisier, 67, died at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Hamilton county hospital where she had been a patient since Sunday, August 10. She had been in poor health the past five years. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. E. V. Nelson, of Vincent, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Lillian H. Meiers, daughter of August and Amelia Meiers, was born Feb 8. 1890 at Marble Rock, Iowa. In 1898, she moved with her parents to Woolstock, and was reared and educated in the Woolstock community. She was united in marriage Oct. 21, 1908 to George Crovisier. Following their marriage, they moved to David City, Nebraska, returning to Iowa in 1915. In the spring of 1916, they moved to Crovisier family farm northeast of Woolstock, where they resided for 27 years. In the spring of 1943, they retired from farming and moved into Woolstock, the family home since.
Mrs. Crovisier is survived by her husband; one son and two daughters; Richard K Crovisier, of Ames; Mrs. John (Vera) O'Connor, Elk River, Minn., and Mrs. George (Iva) Rasmussen of Webster City; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George Jones, of Woolstock and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one son, Martin; by her parents, one sister, and two brothers.
In early childhood she was united with the Methodist church at Woolstock, and was a member of the W.S.C.S of the Woolstock Methodist church. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Past Noble Grands.
