Funeral services for Regina R. Gimer, 87, Renwick, were held Friday, Dec. 7, at the United Methodist Church in Renwick, with burial in the Vernon Township Cemetery, Hardy. She died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. The Mason - Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her son; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Harl.

Regina Roberta Miller, daughter of Leon and Jessamine (Murray) Miller, was born at West Point, IL. She was raised in the Livermore and Renwick areas, and graduated from Renwick High School. Following her graduation from high school, she attended Frances Shimer Finishing School. In 1933 she was united in marriage to Harl D. Gimer of Renwick. The couple made their home in Renwick, where they operated the family creamery business. In the late 1970's, the family retired. Her husband died in August, 1982. She continued to maintain her homes in Renwick and Arizona. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Renwick, and a Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, Rebecca Lodge, in Renwick.
