Irwin R. Kinsley, 84, passed away in the loving arms of his family on May 21, 2013 after a year-long illness. Services were held May 24 at Savage Funeral Chapel in Standish, MI with burial at Woodmere Cemetery, Standish.

Irwin was born on June 11, 1928 in Detroit to the late Charles Kinsley and Faustine (Clinton) Kinsley. He worked for Eaton Corporation in both Michigan and Belmond as a product planning supervisor until his retirement. While in Belmond he was active at the UCCC church. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Irwin was preceded in death by his daughter Melodie Ann Kinsley, and his brother Donald Kinsley. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 63 years Donnabell (Masters) Kinsley and their children Jenny (Dr. Ron) Schwab, Charles Kinsley, Edward (Julie) Kinsley, Jane (Ronald) Schor and Bryan Kinsley; grandchildren Jeffrey Schwab, Dr. Jon (Clara) Schwab, Abby (Dan) Zarimba, Mia Kinsley, Jessica (Mark) Roelfsema, Amy (Jared) Davis and Angie (Jon) Clinger; great-grandchildren Andrew, Alexander, Hailey and Carter Schwab, Madison, Aubrey and Kyra Davis, Alexandria Roelfsema and Kinsley Clinger. Those wishing to express their sympathy through a memorial might consider hospice.
