Favette "Faye" Black, 86, of Goodell, IA, (formerly of Sutherland, IA) died Thursday, Jan. 17th, at home. Funeral services for Faye Black will be held on Monday, Jan. 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Jan. 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Hancock. Faye Black is survived by: Her Daughters: Juanita (Stanley) Herzenach of Ft. Dodge; Pamella Alspach of Goodell; Favella Baxter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Loretta Journey of Chesapeake, VA; Carol Black of Hancock; & Jackie Doe of Chesapeake, VA. Her Son: Charles “Chuck” (Barrie) Black of Council Bluffs. 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great-grandchild.
