George Miller Sr. passed away at his home in Salem [Missouri] on Monday June 3, 2013 at the age of ninety years and three months. A memorial service will be held in his home town of Clarion, Iowa, at a later date. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, and married his wife of sixty-nine years, Dixie Williams, during that time. He attended the Salem United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Dixie, two children, daughter Dani Commendador and husband Mark, of Colorado Springs, and son G. Garth Miller Jr. and wife Geri of Salem. He was a beloved grandpa of seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Grace Miller of Clarion, Iowa, sister, Margery Brown, and brother, Max Miller, both of Seattle, Washington.
