W. C. Beaver, 47, Dies from Heart Attack in Car

William C. Beaver, 47, who resided at 616 south Nineteenth street, died very suddenly Sunday evening while returning from a weekend visit with Mrs. Beaver's brother, Will Trebend, at Jefferson, Iowa. He suffered a heart attack in the car and died almost instantly. He was not driving the car when he was stricken. Mr. Beaver had been in poor health for about two years so that his death was not unexpected. Born in Goldfield, Iowa, April 19, 1892, he came to Fort Dodge 25 years ago where he was married to Miss Magdalena Trebend, June 13, 1919. He is survived by his widow and a daughter, Dorothy. Two brothers, Melvin and Ben Beaver of Lisbon, N. D. also survive. Mr. Beaver was employed as a salesman. The body is at G. Marshall Young funeral home and will be taken to the family home Tuesday morning where a brief service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 followed by a service at the funeral home at 2 o'clock. The Rev. George E. Steele of Memorial Presbyterian church will conduct the services. Burial will be in the family lot in the Haviland cemetery.
