Lloyd Golackson, 67, Dows Man Dies

Lloyd Golackson, 67, of Dows died in the Clarion Memorial Hospital Friday afternoon, February 11, 1966. He was a lifelong resident of the Dows area. Lloyd was born to Nels and Nellie Golackson at Dows on April 30, 1898. He was married to Charlotte Heiden on May 28, 1919 at Clarion. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Sherman (Lucille) Orvick of Des Moines and Mrs. Wm. (Virginia) Vogle of Hammond, Indiana, one sister, Mrs. Elmer Westlund of Dows, one brother, Clarence Golackson of Colton, California, two grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one daughter. Services were held Monday afternoon at 2 at the First Lutheran Church at Dows. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. John Langehough officiating. The Vanhove Funeral Home was in charge.
