TO BE BURIED IN IOWA FALLS
Body of late Ex-Senator E. A. Howland, Who Died at Eagle Grove, Will be Laid to Last Rest

Iowa Falls, Ia., Jan. 25 - The remains of the late ex-Senator E. A. Howland, who died at Eagle Grove, Saturday, were brought here for interment in Union cemetery. Senator Howland was a member of the senate in 1873-4 and represented the Franklin-Wright-Hancock county district. He has lived most of his life in Eagle Grove, making his home since the death of his wife with a daughter at that place. He kept a hotel at one time at Oakland Valley, the place being known as Otisville. He was a life-long member of the Methodist church and a prominent Mason. The remains were met here by a delegation of Masons from Home lodge, A.F. & A.M., and interment was made under the ritualistic ceremonies of the Masonic order.
