EMELIA SIBLERUD RITES WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Emelia (Matilda) Siblerud, 87, died Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Home where she had been a patient for about a week. She was born May 26, 1883, at Dows, Iowa, a daughter of Erick and Martha Iverson. April 22, 1908, she married Martin Halvor Siblerud at Albert Lea, Minn. They then moved to Harland, Minn., where they lived until 1919 when they moved to Montana, coming to the Flathead Valley in 1920. Mr. Siblerud died in 1924 and the family continued to farm in the Egan community. Mrs. Siblerud moved into Kalispell in 1943 and has lived here since that time. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth, in 1941 and is now survived by four sons, Harold E., Maynard L., Ellsworth I., and Donald R. Siblerud, and two daughters, Mrs. Acil (Buenetta) McCown and Mrs. Henrie (Marvel) Nichol, all of Kalispell; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Adolph Iverson of Ames, Iowa and numerous other relatives in Iowa and Minnesota. Funeral services will be conducted in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 3 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Henrik Engebretson of the Calvary Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Conrad Memorial Cemetery. The family suggest memorials to the Immanuel Lutheran Home.

LAST RITES FOR EMELIA SIBLERUD
Funeral services for Mrs. Emelia Siblerud were conducted in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Wednesday with the Rev. Henrik Engebretson, pastor of the Calvary Lutheran church officiating. Interment was in Conrad Memorial Cemetery with grandsons, Robert Siblerud, Lonnie Siblerud, Roger Siblerud, Ronald Nichol, Gary Robinson and Jack Hensley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Clarence Evenson, Hans Tutvedt, Herman Engstrom, Otto Marken, Alfred Holden, Oscar Engebretson and Tony Antonich.
