Former Wright Co. Resident Dies at Salem, Ore., Friday
M. A. Delano received a telegram Friday from Salem, Ore., telling of the death of his brother-in-law, Warren Inman. Funeral services were held at the Virgil T. Golden company chapel at Salem, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. W. H. Lyman officiating. Interment was in Belcrest Memorial park.
Warren Cecil Inman, retired barber, who made his home in Salem, Ore., many years, died at a hospital there Thursday [May 7, 1953] following an illness of a year. He was born July 15, 1872 at Dows, [IA] and moved to Salem 47 years ago. He owned barbershops in Salem and in Portland until the time of his retirement. Survivors include his wife, the former Louella DeLano, to whom he was married in Iowa, January, 1899; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Stupka of Salem; a son, Glen B. Inman of Ocean Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Eva King and Mrs. Alma Simpson in Iowa, and Mrs. Rose Mills in Kansas and a brother, Cecil Inman of Los Angeles and two granddaughters.
