VETERAN'S WIFE DIES
Mrs. Sarah Sawin Passes Away at Soldier's Home Hospital

Mrs. Sarah Sawin, a member of the soldier's home, and wife of George F. Sawin, also a member of the home and a veteran of Company C. Thirty ninth Iowa Infantry, died at the home hospital Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock of cirrhosis of the liver. Mrs. Sawin was born at Lock Haven, Pa., July 28, 1846. Besides her husband, two brothers and a sister survive her. They are William Beaver, Hampton Roads, Va., Jonas Beaver, Jamestown, N. D., and Mrs. Ella Herner, who is living in Alaska. The funeral service will be conducted by Chaplain W. H. Clement, at the assembly hall at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be at the home cemetery.
