August 29, 1891 --- October 31, 1975

Charles H. Noonan, a resident of the Kanawha Community home, died Oct. 31 at the age of 84. Funeral services for Mr. Noonan were held Nov. 4 at 9 a.m. from St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Britt with the Rev. Father John J. Brickley, Pastor. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Livermore, with the Rev. Father Edward Fandel officiating. The Boughton Cataldo Funeral Home of Britt and Woden was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Jerry Jensen, Joseph Jensen, Richard Jensen, Daniel Reding, Ronald Reding and Thomas Reding.

Charles Noonan was born Aug. 29, 1891 in Livermore, the son of Peter and Mary Turbidy Noonan. He received his education in the rural school near Livermore. On Jan. 17, 1917 he was married to Nellie Iona Smith at Livermore. They lived at Livermore and farmed in that and the Renwick and Britt areas. Following retirement from the farm near Britt, Mr. Noonan became a resident of the Kanawha Community Home because of falling health.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Marceline) Jensen, Marathon; one son-in-law, Frank Reding, LuVerne; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. Also two brothers: Frank Noonan, Emmetsburg, and Edward Noonan, Toppenish, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nellie, on Nov. 22, 1953; one daughter, Elizabeth, in 1965; two brothers: William and Leo; and one sister, Mrs. Jack (Genevive) Wonderly.
