Marshall Clancy Of Hardy Died At Age Of 86 Years

Marshall Clancy of Hardy died Tuesday at his home following a lingering illness. He had been bedfast for more than a year. Mr. Clancy was eighty six years old. He came to Humboldt county from Canada fifty-four years ago to locate on a farm four miles west of Renwick. Since retiring from farming many years ago he has lived in Hardy. Surviving are his wife, four sons and two daughters: Andrew, Neal and Rockwell, all of near Hardy, Schyler at Ames, Mrs. Will Foley of Rock Rapids and Mrs. Minnie McKay, who has been with her parents during the last two years. Funeral rites were Thursday afternoon at two p.m. from the home and at 2:30 from the Methodist church in Hardy.
