Clarion Man Dies of Heart Ailment

Clarion — Funeral services for Upton Fulks, 64, are incomplete pending arrival of a son from Germany. Mr. Fulks died late Monday night following a heart attack last week. Services will be held at the First Methodist church with the Rev. Louis H. Preull officiating. Besides his wife Mr. Fulks is survived by 6 sons, Clayton of Peoria, Ill., Wilbur and Robert of Waterloo, Harold of Oelwein, George stationed with the United States army in Germany, and Charles of Clarion; 3 daughters, Mrs. Gus Wild of Panora, Mrs. Ray Bengston of Mishawaka, Ind., and Mrs. Tom McIntosh of Danville, Ill.; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Vina Good of Arlington, Mrs. Mae Fones of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Blanche Reeves of Waverly. The Eyler funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
