The Salisbury family received word of the death of Mrs. Jake Robinson, a former resident of this community, who was buried at Eagle Grove last Sunday.

Olive Viroqua Orcutt Robinson

Daughter of William Orcutt
Olive Viroqua, daughter of William and Mary Orcutt, was born in Wright County, Iowa, July 4, 1867, and died at Hamilton, Indiana February 7th, 1917. She was married to J. B. Robinson, December 25, 1885. To this union were born three daughters, Mary C. Royal of Minneapolis, Minn., Stella M. Baker of Elma, Wash., Lola Porter of Webster City, Iowa. Besides her husband and daughters, she leaves eight grandchildren, her mother, one brother, one sister, and a number of other relatives and many friends. She was a dutiful daughter, faithful wife, noble mother, and kind neighbor.

The funeral services were held in the Methodist Episcopal church in Eagle Grove, Iowa, Sunday afternoon at 1:30. Rev. R. D. Acheson, pastor of the church preaching the sermon. A quartet consisting of L. P. Eversz, Chas. Gross, Miss Anna Thorpe, and Miss Van Ness with Miss Lulu McDonough accompanist, furnished the music. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.

Those attending the funeral from out of the city were Mr. Robinson's brother, F. A. Robinson of Waterloo, Mrs. Mary Royal of Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Porter of Webster City, both ladies daughters of the deceased; Mr. and Mrs. Damon of Des Moines, Mrs. Damon is a sister of Mr. Robinson; Thos. Bethel of Paulina, cousin of Mrs. Robinson
