Frances Marie Marvets, the daughter of Wayne and Esther (Farmer) Myers, was born on July 22, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth. On June 5, 1965, Frances was united in marriage with Michael Marvets, in Preston, Minn. The couple made their home in Evansdale, Waterloo, and moved to Eagle Grove in 1976. Frances worked as a Certified Med Aide at the Clarion Hospital and Rotary Ann Nursing Home, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Granny Franny was a remarkable woman. She was a wonderful combination of warmth, kindness, laughter and love. She overlooked our faults, encouraged our dreams and praised our every success. She was all the dear and precious things in life. Granny Franny has touched our hearts in so many ways and her life will be forever cherished. “We Love You Granny Franny!”

Frances passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge, at the age of 64 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Esther Myers;
brother, Gary Myers; granddaughter, Aime Jo Anderson and baby boy Anderson. Survivors include her husband, Mike Marvets of Eagle Grove, four daughters: Teresa Beisell of Eagle Grove, Michelle Schoon and husband Troy of Audubon; Brenda West and husband John of Webster City, and Tina Anderson and husband Kyle of Clarion; nine grandchildren: Jessica Milliken, Megan Schoon, Kyle West, Darrick Anderson, Chase Schoon, Morgan Schoon, Bryce Beisell, Devon Anderson and Dillon Anderson; three greatgrandchildren: Ayden Feske, Layne Feske and Holly Anderson; and three sisters: Mary Lou Reginold and husband Ivan of Evansdale, Rose Mary Zimpel of Waterloo, and Barbara Myers of Evansdale.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Foust Funeral Home in Goldfield. Visitation was held from 12 p.m. until service time. Memorials may be left to the
discretion of the family.
