Dewey Weltzheimer Rites Set
Services for Dewey Oscar Weltzheimer, 63, of 1004 Twenty-fifth St., who died of emphysema Wednesday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton-Lilly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Weltzheimer, a retired farmer, had been ill two years. Born at Storm Lake, he lived in Kanawha and Fonda before moving here 13 years ago. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow, Hattie [nee Peterson]; two daughters, Mrs. Lois M. Schnoor of Des Moines and Mrs. Doris Albright of New Virginia; two sons, Robert D. of Carlisle and James R. of Des Moines; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Burrow and Mrs. Ernest Meyers of Sac City, Mrs. Ernest Stanley of Galesburg, Ill., and Mrs. Frank Stanley of Oquawka, Ill.; a brother, Wayne, of Sac City, and 14 grandchildren.
