Meets Death in Terrible Manner

Nicholas Moser, aged 22, of Eagle Grove, was fatally injured Aug. 4th in a hay mow accident. He was moving back the hay in the barn and when he had completed his work he slid down the hay pile and struck the handle of a pitchfork which was leaning against the hay. The handle of the fork imbedded itself in the young man's body about eight inches. He was alone at the time but retained consciousness and staggered out of the barn and called for help. His wife heard his cry and went to his help. He was removed to a hospital at Eagle Grove but he died two days following the accident. He is survived by his widow, father and five sisters.
