Aroline [Arloine] Delores, 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jensen of Eagle Grove, died May 2nd as the result of pulling a can of kerosene over and spilling the contents on her. The Jensen family was visiting at the Warren Smith home the Sunday, before and after dinner when the child was in the kitchen of the Smith home she pulled a can of kerosene from the shelf, spilling the contents over her face and some of the kerosene fumes penetrated her lungs, which later caused her death. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers.

Girl, Who died After Swallowing Kerosene, Buried in Eagle Grove

EAGLE GROVE, May 6. — Funeral services for Arloine, 2, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jensen, were held at the funeral parlors of Kubitschek and Kastler yesterday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. T. J. Severtson of the east side Lutheran church. While visiting at the home of a neighbor, the little girl swallowed some kerosene, from the effects of which she developed pneumonia, resulting in her death soon after.
