Mae Dewey, 97, of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at The Villa Cottages. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.

Survivors include sons, Raymond (Gloria) Dewey of Rolfe, IA; Ronald (Elizabeth) Dewey of Fort Dodge, IA; and daughter Sandra (Donald) Jordison of Fort Dodge, IA; nine grandchildren and four step grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Ray Dewey, Parents Jon and Lydia (Peterson) Jermeland; her step- father, Antone Johnson; brother, Selma Jermeland; Sisters, Thelma Breeden, Ella Monson, Jemima Johnson; A brother, Daniel Johnson; grandchildren Rhonda Dewey and Randy Dewey; and a great great-granddaughter Daetoria Rees.

Mae Lydia Jermeland, was born on January 6, 1915 in Holmes, IA. She was raised in Holmes and attended country school near Eagle Grove. She was baptized at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. On April 27th, 1933, Mae was united in marriage to Ray Dewey. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
