Eloise E. Fischer, 85, of Luther Manor, formerly of 3203 Lake Ridge Drive, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 8 at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F Kennedy Road with Rev. Greg Bjornstad officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Monday, January 7 at the funeral home.

Eloise was born on January 26, 1927 in Goldfield, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Elizabeth (Gaulke) Moseley. She attended Cornell College where she studied music and graduated from a Jr. College in Fort Dodge, IA., where she met her husband, John W. Fischer of 66 years. She was a dedicated member in PEO Chapter MP and a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Her favorite activities were cooking, music, reading, playing cards, and most importantly being a mother, wife, and friend to many.

Surviving are her husband, John W. Fischer; two daughters, Jacqueleen (Darrel) Baker of Dakota Dunes, SD., and Liz (Mick) Jurgensen of Marshalltown, IA.; grandchildren, Matthew (Alexandra) Baker, of Valencia, Spain; great - grandchildren, Adrienne, Quinten, and Jamie, of Washington State; and a sister-in-law, Ruth (ED) Gopfert, of Venice, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Douglas Moseley; and brother and sister-in-law, Bob (Elaine) Fischer. Memorials may be given to PEO Chapter MP Educational Fund.
