November 9, 1911 --- July 18, 2002

Lucille Trouten, age 90, of Harmony died at the Harmony Healthcare on July 18, 2002. Olinda Lucille Rosena Trouten, the daughter of Raymond and Theodora (Ellis) Long was born in Belmond, IA on Nov. 9, 1911. After the death of her mother at an early age, she was raised by her maternal grandparents, Ole and Louise Ellis. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and confirmed at Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony. On Sept. 6, 1933, Lucille married Lyle E. Trouten in Preston, MN. They farmed for a time in the Harmony area and owned several businesses in Harmony including a grocery store and a implement dealership. Lyle retired in 1977 and passed away in Nov. of 1991.

Lucille is survived by two sons: Ronald (Donnis) Trouten and Robert (Marilyn) Trouten all of Harmony, MN; a daughter, LaRita (William) Bakken of Lake Mills, IA; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and a brother-in-law, Leonard (Inez) Trouten. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her husband, and her brother, Dewey Long.

Services were at the United Methodist Church in Harmony on July 20, 2002 with burial in the State Line Cemetery with Rev. David Laechel officiating. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony was in charge of arrangements.
