Velma L. Jacobsen was born April 9, 1923, in Popejoy, IA, to Albert and Mary Jacobsen. Velma married Wilbur "Bill" Morse on September 5, 1943, in Iowa Falls, IA. Bill preceded her in death on May 28, 1985. Velma died Friday, November 13, 2009, in Villa Maria, Fargo, ND, at eighty-six years of age. Velma is survived by her daughter, Kris Morse, Duluth, MN; a son, John (Sandy) Morse, Bryan, TX; and one grandchild. The funeral for Velma will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, Minnesota.
