Des Moines, IA -- Franklin D. Holm, 79, died Monday, November 12, 2012 at Trinity Center in Des Moines. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Dunn's Funeral Home.

Frank was born May 29, 1933 to Fredrick and Clara (Sebber) Holm in Vincent, Iowa. He received his Bachelors Degree from Iowa State University and was an Army Veteran. Frank opened Holm Graphic Services in 1969 and was president of the company until his retirement. He was a member of the DSM Club of Printing House Craftsmen, the Des Moines Art Directors, and a significant supporter of the Kiya Koda Animal Shelter of Indianola.

Survivors include his children: Karen (Wayne) Wilson of Boyce, VA, David (Teri) Holm of Des Moines; grandchildren: Chandra Looney, Christina Higgins, Joe Felton, Ashley Linares, Michael Dodson, Bryan Dodson, Ashley Dodson; and seven great grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by five siblings. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kiya Koda Animal Shelter. ILES FUNERAL HOMES --DUNN'S CHAPEL - Des Moines, Iowa
