Curtis Robison, Indianola

Curtis Frazier Robison, 89, died of a lung ailment Dec. 7, 2002, at Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Private family services were held Monday, Dec. 9, at Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. George H. Mullins officiating.

Curtis Robison was born Jan. 9, 1913 in Madison County to Clifford and Winifred (Frazier) Robison. On Jan. 7, 1939, he married Mary Kathryne Armbrest in Maryville, Mo. Curtis, a retired farmer, had been a resident of Madison County until he retired and moved to Indianola in 1978. A World War II Navy veteran, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge of both Warren and Madison counties, Eastern Star and the Winterset First Christian Church. He is survived by a son, Jon A. Robison (wife Wilma) of Indianola; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Indianola. Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
