Ina B. Crowe, 90, Kokomo, Indiana died at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. She was born Feb. 16, 1922, in Old Fort, N.C., the daughter of Garland F. and Ina Belle (Denny) Bryson. Ina married Clifford H. Crowe Jr. on June 11, 1965, in Kokomo and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 2007.

Ina went to Ridge Crest High School. She loved being grandma, liked to read, loved to be outdoors by the water, and was a great babysitter for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ina had been a member of the First Congregational Church since 1965.

Survivors are a daughter, Carol (James) Billiard, Kokomo; sons, Joseph T. Kennedy, Kokomo, Clifford H. "Pat" (Tricia) Crowe III., Oakland, Mich., Edward (Mary) Crowe, Bakersfield, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Dawn M. Gundersen, Tara A. Turton, Jennifer (Jason) Hobson, Ann Marie (David) Hart, Ashleey M. (Wayne) Lehto, Zoe A. Crowe, Remi N. Crowe, Cindy Crowe, April Crowe; nine great-grandchildren, Justin C. Hammock, Taylor A. Turton, Bridgette E. Turton, Cade W. Turton, Patrick T. Hobson, Brody K. Hobson, Finley M. Hart, Graham H. Hobson, Jacob J. Lehto; and brother Garland F. (Sharon) Bryson, Inman, S.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Ina, husband Clifford and sister Violet B. Edwards.

A celebration of Ina’s life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Congregational Christian Church, 505 W. Mulberry St., with Pastor David Osborne officiating the services. A graveside service will be at 10:00 am Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kokomo Rescue Mission.
