Porter Services Conducted at Eagle Grove

EAGLE GROVE — Funeral services were held at the Kastler Funeral Home for Walter B. Porter, 68, who died at his home here. Mr. Porter, a carpenter, had been ill at his home for several months. The Rev. Dale Brown of the First Congregational Church officiated at the service, and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Masonic services were held at the Kastler Funeral Home. Mr. Porter is survived by his wife, Florence, who has been a kindergarten teacher in the Eagle Grove schools for 34 years and two children, David Porter, Yankton, S. D., and a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Elizabeth) Thomas, San Jose, Calif., and a sister, Miss Florence Porter, Sacramento, Calif., and three grandchildren.
