Services were held Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at Turner Jenness Funeral Home of Milford for Brenna J. Covel of Arnolds Park. The Rev. Sarah Rohret presided. Brenna Jean Covel was born March 4, 2011, in Spirit Lake. Brenna was the daughter of Brian and Lacey Covel. Brenna loved to dance and everyone that knew her called her "Bean." She liked to watch movies and her favorite was The Minions. She could light up a room with her smile.

She passed away Aug. 24, 2012, at 18 months of age. Brenna is survived by her mom, dad and her brothers, Christopher, Jacob and Jules, all of Arnolds Park; grandmother, Jeanine Pinkele of Eagle Grove; grandmother, Patricia Arnolds and William Covel of New York; great-grandparents, Louis Pinkele and John and Lois Sheets. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Douglas Pinkele; great-grandmother, Geneva Pinkele and cousin, Brandon Schuman.
