May 14, 1932 --- November 28, 1989

Alvin W. Naber, 57, Pueblo, Colo., a former Kamrar area resident, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 28, at the Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 1, at 1:30 p.m. at the Community Church, east of Kamrar, Dr. Craig Bex and Pastor Leaon Griswold officiating. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation at the Foster Funeral Home in Webster City is after 5 p.m. today, until 9 a.m. Friday, when the casket will be taken to the church.

Alvin Wilbur Naber, son of Henry and Eka Koop Naber, was born May 14, 1932, on a farm northeast of Kamrar. He attended schools in the Kamrar area, and graduated from Kamrar High School in 1950. He married Beverly Hollingshead on Aug. 18, 1959, in Yankton, S.D.. The couple resided in Fort Dodge for two years. Mr. Naber operated a service station in Goldfield. In 1965, the family moved to Pueblo, where Mr. Naber was service manager at auto dealerships in the area.

He is survived by his wife Beverly, Pueblo; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Linda Naber, Pueblo; three step-children; Roxana (Mrs. Harry) Flanary, Pueblo; Verl and Jaqueline Luppes, Aurora, Colo.; Cheri (Mrs. Terry) Hill, Bloomfield, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother. Mr. Naber was a member of the Kamrar Community Church.
