Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Rowley

Mrs. Hazel Rowley, 77, mother of Verlin Rowley, 1008 S. Third, [Fairfield, Iowa], died Saturday at 12:30 p.m., at the hospital in Belmond, Iowa where she had been a patient about two weeks. Funeral services will be held at the Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., with burial in the Rest Haven at West Des Moines. The Rev. Glazier of the Unitarian Church at Reinbeck will officiate.

Mrs. Rowley was born Oct. 9, 1895 in Rockwell City. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, Verlin of Fairfield and one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Hefty of Reinbeck with who she had been making her home. She was preceded in death by one son, Denton and by her husband, DeLoss Rowley, who died three years ago. Mrs. Rowley is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
