Thomas H. Halvorson, 65, of Webster City, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 25 at the Webster City Moose Family Center. Burial will be at a later date in Madison, MN.

Thomas Henry Halvorson, son of Gerald and Ruth Monroe Halvorson, was born February 27, 1947 at Madison, MN. He received his education at Minneapolis, Eagle Grove and Webster City, graduating from Webster City High School. He was employed with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad for 25 years. He retired in 2000.

Tom is survived longtime companion, Lori Kelly of Webster City; daughters, Carla Grooms of Webster City, Wendy Kelly of Boone, five grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; niece, Nicki Halvorson of Phoenix, AZ; nephew, Brett Halvorson of Phoenix, AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Halvorson; great-niece, Ashley Halvorson and great grandson, Brenden Farwell-Worthen. Tom was a member of the Webster City Moose Family, Webster City Links and was an avid golfer.
