Rites Sunday for Mrs. Seaquist, Eagle Grove
EAGLE GROVE, IA — Mrs. Albertina C. Seaquist, 78, widow of Albert Seaquist, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. J. Schaeffer. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Roy Klopping of the Open Bible church will be held at the Wilson funeral chapel Sunday at 2:30 p.m. She is survived by two sons, Albin, at Corsica, S. Dak., and Albert at Bradgate, and the daughter at whose house she died.

Albertina Christina Seaquist was born in Sweden October 10, 1857, and died at the home of her daughter at 4:15 Friday morning, March 6, 1936, in Eagle Grove, Iowa at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 14 days. She came to America at the age of 23 years and landed in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she secured employment. She was married to Albert Seaquist June 30, 1881. To this union four children were born, the first, a son, died at the age of six years. The surviving children are:
Mrs. Theodore Schaeffer of Eagle Grove, Albert Seaquist Jr. of Bradgate. Albin E. Seaquist of Corsica, South Dakota. Mrs. Seaquist was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at an early age. Upon her arrival in America she joined the Baptist church and was ever an ardent follower of that denomination to the time of her death. Mrs. Seaquist was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away August 18, 1930. The funeral services were held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon from Wilson Funeral chapel, with Rev. Roy Klopping in charge. She was laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery.Eagle Grove Eagle -- Eagle Grove, Iowa
