August 12, 1871 -- December 23, 1952

James Henry Austin was born in the Rabbittown neighborhood of Danville, Illinois to Robert Briggs Austin, Sr. and Mary Frances (Hillard) Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Nettie Jane Swanson, and three brothers: George, John, and Harry Austin. In his passing, James left a wife Hannah, a daughter, Edith Boring, and two sons, Arthur and Ralph Austin. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa.
