MRS. A. R. BLOMQUIST

EAGLE GROVE, Dec. 2 — Funeral services for Mrs. A. R. Blomquist, 57, who died Sunday, Nov. 27, here, were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 29, at the Wilson funeral home in Eagle Grove. The Rev. H. G. Dawes conducted the rites and burial was in Rosehill cemetery. During the service, Mrs. D. M.
Farran sang "City Four Square" and "The Stranger of Gallilee," accompanied by Mrs. Burdette
Middleton. Pallbearers were six members of the Eagle Grove I.O.O.F. lodge, William Floyd, Charles
Imboden, Sylvan Wood, William Rifen, Bert Wood and Irwin Engelby.

Mrs. Blomquist, born Dec. 7, 1891, in Webster county, was married to A. R. [Albin R.] Blomquist in Fort Dodge May 19, 1912. The couple moved to Eagle Grove 32 years ago. She was a member of the Eagle Grove Methodist church and Junietta Rebekah lodge. Surviving her are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Russell Blackman of Eagle Grove; a grandson, Jimmy Blackman; one brother, Fred Dayton; and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Kallansrud and Mrs. Effie Scott, all of Fort Dodge. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Attending the rites from out of town were a number of relatives and friends from Fort Dodge, Webster City, Humboldt, and Clarion.
