Clarence Thomas Buhner, 57, died at Trinity West Hospital, Fort Dodge, Sunday morning. He had entered the hospital Saturday evening. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove will burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Kastler-Babcock-DeYoung Funeral Home is in charge.
Surviving are the widow; son, Brian Buhner, Eagle Grove; brothers, John, Eagle Grove, and LeRoy, Pequot Lake, Minnesota; sisters, Mrs. Harold Hansen, Mrs. Cecil Wilde, and Mrs. Robert Fisher, all of Eagle Grove.
Mr. Buhner was born at Eagle Grove and graduated from high school here. He married Dolores Halgrim in 1943 at Thor, Iowa. He then entered the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He returned after the war and operated the Webster City greenhouse, the Fort Dodge greenhouse and Dee's Flower and Gift Shoppe of Webster City, all at the same time from 1946 to 1960. He was retired from 1960 until 1971, when he went into business with his son in Brian's Hamburgers and Malts, in Eagle Grove.
