Robert James Condon was born February 23, 1938, in Clarion, Iowa, the son of Ernest James and Margaritte (Mowry) Condon. He was a graduate of St. Ambrose Academy and Notre Dame University. Bob proudly served our country in the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired in 1992 following 22 years of service at the Rock Island Arsenal. Bob was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, the Quad-City Notre Dame Club, a 3rd degree member of Loras Council 532, and a 4th degree member of Msgr. Leo J. Feeney Assembly 260 Knights of Columbus. He especially enjoyed family gatherings with his many cousins. Bob was a very generous man, gifting many Catholic organizations through the years. In his generous fashion, it was only fitting that he added the Iowa Donor Network to his list. Memorials may be made to a Catholic charity of your choice.

He is survived by an uncle, Harold Condon, Sacramento, Calif.; and more than 50 first cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
